ann's garden blossoms

This is another 50/50 piece and is inspired by my high school friend Ann Fagan Lovaz and her memorial garden at Norman High School. Ann was taken from us far too soon but like all who knew Ann I will always remember her kindness and warm smile. Although Ann and I always ended up running against each other for student council we always were the best of friends. Our senior year I had the honor of being paired up with her in the homecoming court where she ended up Homecoming Queen.

When I started thinking of the people who would be my inspiration for these pieces Ann was one of the first people on my list. Ann was friendly, happy, generous and kind. She was a friend to all and always had a smile on her face. Ann was the best of the Norman High School Class of ‘89 and I consider myself lucky to have been her friend.
