seshat blossom

Seshat Blossom is inspired by my friend Ann Caine who I met through Leadership Oklahoma. Ann is an LOK alumnus and was helping with the Oklahoma City session for my class. When I first met her, I had absolutely no idea what a big deal she was. Ann was immediately friendly, and kind and we became friends instantly. As I got to know her, I started to realize that her accomplishments weren’t just impressive, they were incredible. Ann has served her communities and state in support of public education in many capacities from teacher to administrator and beyond. Ann may not have been credited with inventing writing like Seshat but she deserves a tremendous amount of credit for helping so many people gain the education that they needed to pursue their dreams. I have enjoyed my friendship with Ann and am so grateful that Leadership Oklahoma brought us together.
